Job Description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day assignment in Florida. The client is looking for a dedicated professional to manage diverse emergency cases across 12-hour shifts, with availability for both day and night rotations. This role involves providing high-quality care in a recently renovated emergency department that sees approximately 45,000 patient visits annually, handling a large adult and senior volume with high acuity patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a variety of emergency medicine cases.
- Provide care in a 28-bed emergency department, which includes bariatric and private rooms.
- Address a large volume of adult and senior patients, many presenting with high acuity conditions, with support from a hospitalist team.
- Participate in the Stroke Center activities, with ongoing implementation of tele-neurology.
- Operate as an independent contractor.
