Job Description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day assignment in Florida. Our client requires coverage for 12-hour shifts, including both day and night rotations. In this role, you will provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a state-of-the-art free-standing emergency department, managing a diverse range of cases within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care in a state-of-the-art free-standing emergency department
- Utilize 12-bed private exam rooms, including a designated trauma room
- Manage an annual emergency department volume of approximately 11,000 cases
- Collaborate with 24-hour physician daily coverage
- Handle an average of 1.3 patients per hour
- Utilize on-site diagnostic imaging, including x-rays and CT scans
- Access on-call ultrasound services available 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
- Utilize on-site laboratory services
