Working With Wellhart

We believe high-quality positions build high-quality careers. That’s why each role has been handpicked for your consideration by the Wellhart team. With decades of experience under our belts, we know a great job when we find one.

Wellhart utilizes a 1:1 approach with our providers. What this means is once you work with Wellhart, you will have a single point of contact for any questions, requests, or comments that you have. Our entire process revolves around saving you time and energy when searching for your next locum tenens opportunity. Here is what you can expect when working with a Wellhart representative:

The First Call

A recruiter will get in touch with you to learn more about you, your work history, and your job preferences  – the more we know about you, the easier it will be to find you a job. Be prepared to provide your recruiter with your most recent CV as well as a few references. We gather this information on the front end because it speeds up the process of getting you on assignment.

Review Our Current Job Openings

Your recruiter will compile a list of jobs that meets your needs and goals based on the job criteria you have discussed at the beginning of the phone call. If any of them stand out to you, let your recruiter know and they will make the necessary preparations for a submittal.

Send Your Information to the Client

Once you have reviewed any potential job opening(s) you are interested in with your recruiter, with your permission, we’ll send your information to the client for review. If the client feels as though you would be a good fit for their facility, your recruiter will set up a phone call between you and the client.

Schedule a Call with the Client

This call is an opportunity for the both of you to ask any questions you may have directly to each other rather than going through your recruiter. If, after evaluating your options, you and the hiring manager decide to move forward, we’ll put the details of the locum assignment on paper and finalize the arrangement.

An Offer is Made

You will be sent a contract via Docusign for your review. This contract will contain key information regarding the assignment, including the agreed-upon rate, description of duties, etc. Please read the contract thoroughly before signing it and be sure to voice any questions or concerns to your recruiter as soon as possible.

Help from our Licensing, Credentialing, and Travel Teams

If you require a new state license for this position, our in-house licensing team can purchase the license for you. Our in-house credentialing team will also work with the facility to get you credentialed before you arrive. If there is anything we need from you, such as fingerprinting, we will let you know. But otherwise, we handle all the back-end paperwork for you.

Wellhart also has an in-house travel team that will handle everything you need to get to your assignment. This includes flights, rental cars, and lodging.

Time to Get Started!

If you have any questions while on assignment, do not hesitate to reach out to your recruiter for assistance. We’ll check in with you to see how things are going from time to time and to discuss future opportunities that may be of interest.
