Wellhart is proud to announce our new Locum Tenens Referral Program! The best part is, we’ve kept it simple.
By referring new physicians who specialize in Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Hospitalist, and/or Anesthesiology, you could receive $2,000-$10,000 per referred provider following successful completion of a minimum required amount of shifts.
Refer a new CRNA, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to Wellhart, and you could receive $1,000-$10,000 per referred provider following successful completion of a minimum required amount of shifts.

Wellhart’s Referral Program Guidelines
Who Can Refer a Physician, CRNA, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant?
- All individuals (other than employees, clients, and vendors of Wellhart or its affiliates) may participate in the Wellhart Referral Program. There is no limit on the number of referrals one person can make — each referral is tracked and rewarded independently.
Who Can Be Referred?
- Physicians, CRNAs, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who specialize in Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Hospitalist Medicine, and/or Anesthesiology, and whom Wellhart has not submitted or assigned to a client within the 12 months prior to the referral.
Rules for Qualification
- The referrer must provide the referred provider’s valid, current contact information, including a working email and phone number.
- The referred provider must hold at least one active, unrestricted U.S. state license (including PR), or be willing to activate a lapsed license.
- The referred provider must complete at least 10 rewarded shifts within 12 months of the referral date. A “rewarded shift” is a standard 8, 10, or 12-hour day for that specialty.
- If the referred provider does not reach 10 rewarded shifts within that 12-month window, the referral expires and no reward is paid.
Payout
- Once the referred provider completes their 10th rewarded shift, the referrer is paid retroactively for every rewarded shift worked from shift one — not only shifts after the 10th.
- Physician (MD/DO) referrals: $200 per rewarded shift, up to a cap of 50 rewarded shifts ($10,000 total per referral).
- CRNA, NP, or PA referrals: $100 per rewarded shift, up to a cap of 100 rewarded shifts ($10,000 total per referral).
- Referrers get a full 12 months from the referral date to earn toward that $10,000, with every rewarded shift counting along the way. The window closes at 12 months, whether or not the full cap has been reached.
Payment Timing
- Referral rewards are paid out quarterly.
