Our client is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Anesthesiology for an assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Nov 16, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services for orthopedic cases, with a particular focus on administering nerve blocks. The schedule consists of standard 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 to 16:00, ensuring a consistent work-life balance.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform pre-operative patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Administer and manage general, regional, and local anesthesia, with an emphasis on nerve blocks for orthopedic procedures.
Continuously monitor patient physiological responses and vital signs throughout surgical interventions.
Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery oversight.
Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Additional Information
Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
Proficiency with Epic EMR is necessary.
