Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 15-day assignment in Pennsylvania. Our client requires coverage for hourly, weeknight, and 24-hour weekend call, alongside 8-hour and 10-hour weekday shifts. In this role, you will work within a care team model, performing 50% solo cases from pre-op to completion and 50% supervision of 1:3 to 1:4 CRNAs, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage cases from pre-op to completion, performing 50% solo work.
- Supervise 1 to 3 or 1 to 4 nurse anesthetists.
- Handle predominantly inpatient cases, accounting for 85% of the workload.
- Perform a variety of bread and butter cases including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, urology, and labor and delivery.
- Avoid cardiac cases/anesthesia, open heart, neuro, and pediatric patients under 13 for the operating room.
