Job Description
We are seeking an Anesthesiologist Physician in Pennsylvania for a 60-day assignment. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. This role involves supervising CRNAs, performing general anesthesiology and regional blocks, and covering a diverse range of cases including GI, Ortho, ENT, Plastics, and Urology across multiple surgery centers, requiring comfort with managing up to four rooms simultaneously.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise CRNAs.
- Perform preop blocks for orthopedic and plastic surgery cases.
- Provide general anesthesiology services.
- Perform regional blocks, including pec, adductor, popliteal, and upper extremity blocks.
- Manage a case mix comprising GI (25% and increasing), Ortho (13%), ENT (8%), Pain (7%), Podiatry (2%), General (2%), Plastics (16%), and Urology (27%).
- Be comfortable managing up to four operating rooms with one anesthesiologist for high percentages of GI cases.
- Maintain flexibility to be scheduled at different surgery centers as needed.
