Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 15-day assignment starting Sep 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive anesthesia care across various cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatric ENT (2+), and Robotics. Shifts begin with 6:45a OR arrival and case start at 7:00a, concluding with variable end times ranging from 3:00p to 7:00a the next day. The role focuses on general cases; specific procedures such as spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, and fiber optics will be managed by the MDA.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia for a diverse range of cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics and C Sections, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatrics ENT (ages 2 and up), and Robotics.
  • Collaborate with the MDA for specific procedures like spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, and fiber optics.
