Job Description

Our client seeks a skilled Anesthetist for a 42-day assignment in North Carolina, beginning Jul 27, 2026. This role involves a workday typically starting at 6:45a for OR arrival and concluding between 3:00p and 7:00p, with a focus on a wide array of cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics, Orthopedics, and Urology. Crucially, specific complex procedures such as spinals and epidurals will be exclusively managed by the MDA.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia for cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics and C Sections, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatrics ENT (ages 2+), and Robotics.
  • The locum will not perform spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, or fiber optics; these procedures will be conducted by the MDA.
  • Ability to perform at all 7 GCM sites is required if submitting to the bullpen.
