Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Aug 1, 2026. This role involves independent drug pushing and induction for a variety of cases, including Endoscopy, General Surgery, Plastics, Simple Ortho, Urology, and GYN, with shifts typically running from 7a to 3/5/7p. The successful candidate will perform solo inductions while adhering to strict protocols that exclude specific advanced procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Induce and push own drugs independently.
  • Provide anesthesia for Endoscopy, General Surgery, Plastics, Simple Ortho, Urology, and GYN cases.
  • Strictly adhere to protocols by not performing Spinals, Epidurals, Nerve Blocks, Upper/Lower Blocks, or Fiber Optics, as these procedures will be conducted by the MDA.
  • Manage shifts from 7a to 3/5/7p.
