Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vascular/Interventional Radiologist Physician for a 120-day assignment in Georgia. Our client offers a continuous block schedule, typically involving mornings in the Interventional Radiology department and afternoons dedicated to vascular procedures. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities across both IR and vascular areas, providing comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform arterial angiography
- Conduct PICC insertions and IVC filter placements/removals
- Execute dialysis access interventions, fistulograms, shuntograms, and thrombectomies
- Carry out vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty procedures
- Perform percutaneous thermal ablations, angioplasty, and embolizations including Y-90
- Insert nephrostomy tubes, Groshong, Permcath, Vascath, and LifePort
- Manage Vascath/Permcath removals and ligation of dialysis access
- Perform venograms
- Conduct CT and USG biopsies
- Execute para/thoracentesis and lumbar punctures
- Perform myelograms
- Insert drains and chest tubes
- Provide embolization procedures for trauma patients
- Utilize fluoroscopy in procedures
