We are seeking a skilled Vascular/Interventional Radiologist for a 120-day assignment in Georgia, starting Nov 9, 2026. This physician will manage a continuous block schedule, primarily working from 8a-5p with Monday on-call, and will divide time between the Interventional Radiology and Vascular departments. The role involves performing a broad spectrum of diagnostic and interventional procedures, encompassing arterial angiography, PICC line management, IVC filter placements and removals, dialysis access interventions, various ablations, embolizations, biopsies, and drain insertions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a continuous block schedule across both the Interventional Radiology (IR) and Vascular Departments.
Cover on-call duties from 8a-8p on Mondays.
Adhere to the following weekly schedule:
Monday: 8a-12p (IR Department), 1p-5p (Vascular Department)
Tuesday: 8a-3p (IR Department), 3p-5p (Vascular Department)
Wednesday: 8a-11:30a (IR Department), 12:30p-5p (Vascular Department)
Thursday: 8a-5p (IR Department)
Friday: 8a-11a (IR Department), 12p-5p (Vascular Department)
Perform a comprehensive range of vascular procedures, including Arterial Angiography, PICC, IVC Filter placement and removal, Dialysis access intervention, Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty, Percutaneous thermal ablations, Angioplasty, Y-90, Embolization, Nephrostomy Tubes, Fistulogram, Shuntogram, Groshong, Thrombectomy of Dialysis access, Permcath, Vascath, Vascath/permcath removal, Ligation of a dialysis access, LifePort insertion, and Venogram.
Conduct diverse IR procedures such as CT and USG Biopsies, Para/Thoracentesis, Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, insertion of drains and chest tubes, Nephrostomy tubes, Embolization procedures for trauma patients, and Fluoroscopy.
Be prepared for potential weekend in-house responsibilities; details to be confirmed.
