Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vascular/Interventional Radiologist Physician for a 21-day assignment in Pennsylvania. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM with evening call until 7 AM, plus 24-hour call on weekends. The physician will perform community interventional radiology procedures, oversee advanced practice providers, and manage some diagnostic radiology reads between procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform community interventional radiology procedures.
- Oversee advanced practice providers performing specified procedures within their skillset.
- Potentially manage some diagnostic radiology read responsibilities between procedures.
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.
- Other Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
- EMR: Epic.
- Setting: Clinic and Call.
- Call Schedule: Out of house call, Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 7 AM, plus 24-hour call on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Patients Per Day: Average 3 outpatients, 7 inpatients, 10 cases, 2 consults, and 2 evaluations daily.
- LOA: 21 Days.
- Staffing Mix: The candidate will be the sole Interventional Radiologist on-site, supported by 3 Interventional Radiology APPs and at least 1-2 diagnostic radiologists during weekday coverage.
