We are seeking a Trauma Nurse Practitioner for an 18-day assignment in Oregon, starting Oct 26, 2026. This role involves 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. shifts, focusing on critical trauma care, including local anesthesia, laceration repair, various wound management techniques, basic fracture care, chest tube, and central line insertions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Local anesthesia
Laceration Repair
Dressing changes
Drain Removal
Suture Removal
Debridement and closure of wounds: Skin and subcutaneous
Debridement of wounds: Superficial
Basic Management of non-displaced fractures
Removal of superficial foreign bodies
Provide hemostasis
Insert and remove packing
Incision and drainage
Cervical Spine clearance
Chest tube removal
Burn Management, partial thickness less than 10%
Laceration Repair: Intermediate
Arterial Line Insertion
Fracture reductions with minimal or moderate displacement
Reduction of simple dislocations
Central Line Insertion
Chest Tube Insertion
