Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Surgery Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 42-day assignment in California, commencing Sep 4, 2026. This role involves working PM shifts, from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., focusing on essential surgical support duties including laceration repair, wound management, basic fracture care, and incision and drainage procedures. The successful candidate will provide crucial care in a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Local anesthesia
• Laceration Repair
• Dressing changes
• Drain Removal
• Suture Removal
• Debridement and closure of wounds: Skin and subcutaneous
• Debridement of wounds: Superficial
• Basic Management of non-displaced fractures
• Removal of superficial foreign bodies
• Provide hemostasis
• Insert and remove packing
• Incision and drainage
