Physician - Pediatrician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for an urgent 4-day assignment in Alabama, commencing Sep 4, 2026. The schedule will be 12p to 9p, where you will provide crucial coverage for births within a Nursery. Responsibilities include the stabilization of infants requiring a higher level of care until transfer. This role does not involve ER or OR call, and there are no specific vent management needs or ECMO requirements. The facility averages two newborns per day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide coverage exclusively for births within a Nursery.
• Stabilize infants requiring a higher level of care until transfer.
• Manage non-invasive ventilation (neo-puff) for newborns.
• Perform ventilation management for newborns and pediatric patients, addressing both acute and chronic needs.
• Execute intubation (ETT/NT) for newborns and pediatric patients.
• Average approximately two newborns per day.
• No ER or OR call back required.
