Job Description
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist Physician for a 98-day assignment in Montana, starting Sep 22, 2024. This role involves a week on/week off 24/7 schedule, including STEMI call, focusing on inpatient care. Responsibilities include performing catheterizations, temporary pacemaker placements, ECG reads, inpatient echoes, and stress test monitoring.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24/7 inpatient care on a week on/week off schedule, including STEMI call.
- Perform catheterizations, including right and left heart cath, PCI, iFR, and IVUS as needed, for STEMIs, NSTEMIs, valve disease, and cardiomyopathies.
- Place temporary pacemakers and arrange transfers for permanent pacemakers.
- Read ECGs within the hospital, excluding the emergency department.
- Conduct inpatient echocardiograms and monitor stress tests.
- Read assigned Holter monitors.
- Place Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP) when required.
- Manage an average of 5 elective cases per week.
- Primarily admit STEMI patients, with most other patients managed by the hospitalist service.
