Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 7-day assignment in Virginia. This role involves a schedule of clinic hours from 8 AM to 5 PM with night call coverage, primarily focusing on inpatient consults, diagnostic procedures, and critical oncologic emergencies, alongside providing comprehensive medical oncology, chemotherapy, biologic and immunotherapy infusions, and supportive care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform inpatient consults, diagnostic procedures, and manage critical oncologic emergencies
- Execute Bone Marrow Aspiration and Core Biopsy
- Conduct Lumbar Puncture
- Perform Paracentesis and Thoracentesis
- Provide medical oncology services, including chemotherapy, biologic and immunotherapy infusions, and supportive care
