Job Description
We are seeking a Physician - Gastroenterologist for a 42-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting Jan 1, 2027. The schedule typically runs from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., focusing on a comprehensive range of gastroenterology procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopies, ERCP, and various biopsies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
- Upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal
- Upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery versus laser)
- Upper GI endoscopy with injection of varices
- ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
- ERCP with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
- Small Bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Flexible colonoscopy with biopsy
- Colonoscopy with excision of polyp
