Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist Physician for an engaging 42-day assignment in North Carolina. This role involves covering one week per month, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., complemented by one weekend of call coverage monthly. The selected physician will be proficient in performing a range of procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopies, biopsies, foreign body removal, fulguration, varix injection, ERCP, and PEG.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Upper GI endoscopy
- With biopsy
- With foreign body removal
- With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
- With injection of varices
- ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
- With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
- Small Bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Flexible
- Colonoscopy
- With biopsy
- With excision of polyp
