Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for an 8-day assignment in New Mexico, beginning Oct 12, 2026. This role involves providing critical access ER coverage during 12-hour shifts. The successful candidate will manage a variety of emergency cases, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide critical access ER coverage.
• Perform endotracheal intubation.
• Execute central/arterial line placement.
• Conduct paracentesis/thoracentesis.
• Perform arthrocentesis.
• Execute lumbar puncture.
• Perform tube/needle/finger thoracotomy.
• Conduct chemical/electric cardioversion.
• Perform closed fracture reductions.
• Stabilize and arrange transfer for all trauma cases to an academic campus.

• Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine.
