Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 21-day assignment in Kentucky, commencing May 31, 2026. This vital role involves comprehensive OR, telemetry, and ICU duties, including first assisting in a range of complex cardiothoracic surgical cases. Candidates should be proficient with 7 AM to 7 AM shifts, contributing significantly to patient care within our client's dynamic surgical team.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform OR duties
  • Manage telemetry duties
  • Provide ICU duties
  • First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases
  • Execute surgical CT procedures
  • Perform vein harvest procedures
  • Conduct chest tube placements
