Job Description

Our client in California seeks a dedicated Vascular/Interventional Radiologist for a 60-day assignment starting Jul 10, 2026. This Physician will work 8a-4:30pm shifts, managing a dynamic caseload including daily CTs, X-rays, Ultrasounds, and 4-6 non-complex IR procedures such as biopsies, drains, aspirations, and occasional tunneled procedures like pleurex catheter placement and CV access.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform 12-15 CT scans daily.
  • Interpret 15-20 X-rays daily.
  • Conduct 8-12 Ultrasounds daily.
  • Execute 4-6 Interventional Radiology procedures daily, predominantly non-complex percutaneous procedures like biopsies, drains, and aspirations, with some infrequent tunneled procedures such as pleurex catheter placement and central venous access.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Cases include Surgical, Medical, ICU, and OB.
  • Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
