Physician - Urgent Care

Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a 90-day assignment in Texas, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive urgent care duties, with a particular focus on significant workers compensation experience. The schedule will include shifts Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturdays 8 AM to 7 PM, and Sundays 8 AM to 5 PM, offering a varied work week.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care in a typical urgent care setting
• Manage and close lacerations
• Perform Incision and Drainage (I&D) procedures
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs
• Possess extensive experience with Workers Compensation cases

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care is required
• Experience with Practice Velocity EMR
• Significant experience in workers compensation cases
