Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Nov 2, 2026. This role involves covering Monday through Sunday shifts from 8a-8p across various sites, focusing on typical urgent care cases such as cold/flu symptoms, minor injuries, and requiring independent practice to manage a diverse patient population.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide urgent care services, covering shifts Monday through Sunday from 8a-8p.
  • Travel between multiple client sites within a 30-mile radius.
  • Work independently without direct supervision.
  • Manage a wide range of urgent care cases, including cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, incision and drainage (I&Ds), splinting, X-rays, EKGs, and drawing blood.
  • Refer high acuity cases to the local emergency room as needed.
  • Provide care for pediatric patients.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine
  • EMR: Epic
  • Comfort with working independently is essential.
  • Proficiency in suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, drawing blood, and pediatric care is required.
