We are actively seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Nov 2, 2026. The incoming provider will manage a varied caseload across 8 AM to 8 PM shifts, Monday through Sunday, focusing on typical urgent care presentations such as cold/flu symptoms, minor injuries, and performing essential procedures including splinting, X-rays, and incision and drainage.
Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluate and treat patients presenting with common urgent care conditions, including cold and flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
Perform essential urgent care procedures such as splinting, X-rays, EKGs, blood draws, and incision and drainage (I&Ds).
Facilitate referrals for high-acuity cases to the local emergency room.
