Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Job Description

Our client is actively seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to begin a 30-day assignment on Nov 2, 2026, in Pennsylvania. This role involves providing comprehensive care from Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM, across multiple sites. The Nurse Practitioner will independently manage a diverse patient caseload, addressing common urgent care needs, and performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, IVs, and I&Ds.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive urgent care for patients experiencing cold and flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns.
• Perform medical procedures including suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, drawing blood, and administering IVs.
• Work independently, managing patient care without direct supervision.
• Travel between various clinic sites within a 30-mile radius.
• Refer high-acuity cases to the local emergency room as appropriate.
• Manage a Mon-Sun, 8 AM to 8 PM shift schedule.
