Physician Assistant - Trauma Surgery

Job Description

We are seeking a Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting May 4, 2026, in Minnesota. The client is looking for a skilled professional to manage 10-hour shifts (7a-5p), focusing on responsibilities such as non-invasive and ventilation management, chest tube and line insertions, suturing, responding to trauma alerts, facilitating discharges, ER admissions, and comprehensive daily patient rounding.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)
• Ventilation Management
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Central Line
• Arterial Line
• Suturing Minor Lacerations
• Responding to the ED for Trauma Alerts
• Facilitating Discharges
• ER Admissions
• Daily rounding and management of all conditions – our client does not use hospitalists, requiring full capability to attend to all patient conditions.
