Physician Assistant - Surgery - Trauma

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant - Surgery - Trauma for a 42-day assignment with our client, starting Sep 4, 2026, in California. This role involves supporting trauma surgery patients through various procedures, including local anesthesia, laceration repair, and complex wound management during PM shifts from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Local anesthesia
• Laceration Repair
• Dressing changes
• Drain Removal
• Suture Removal
• Debridement and closure of wounds: Skin and subcutaneous
• Debridement of wounds: Superficial
• Basic Management of non-displaced fractures
• Removal of superficial foreign bodies
• Provide hemostasis
• Insert and remove packing
• Incision and drainage

• Shift hours: PM shift (3 p.m. to 1 a.m.)
