Job Description

 Wellhart is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Radiology for a locum tenens position in Pennsylvania. This 120-day assignment begins on 02/16/2026 at a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple UPMC locations, providing diagnostic radiology services including XR, CT, MR, US, and NucMed/PET. The role requires competency in body imaging (chest & abdominal) and the ability to function as a generalist, including ED and inpatient care. The work schedule varies, with shifts ranging from 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 12p-8p, and 2p-10p, totaling approximately 40 shifts per month. Experience with Cerner and Epic systems is beneficial. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform diagnostic radiology services across multiple modalities (XR, CT, MR, US, NucMed/PET)

• Demonstrate competency in body imaging, particularly chest and abdominal

• Function as a generalist radiologist, including ED and inpatient care

• Work across multiple UPMC locations as needed

• Utilize Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all radiological findings and interpretations

• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania

• Board certification in Radiology preferred
