Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Radiologist Physician for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico, starting Jul 13, 2026. This role requires commitment to an 8a-5p, Monday to Friday schedule, focusing on interpreting 80-110 reads daily across various modalities, with a significant portion originating from the emergency room and demanding prompt attention to critical cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform 80-110 reads daily.
  • Interpret 55-65 X-ray cases, primarily involving head and spine.
  • Conduct readings for 3-5 MRI cases.
  • Analyze 10-14 Ultrasound cases.
  • Read 20-25 CT cases.
  • Manage a high volume of emergency room reads, comprising approximately 80% of daily volume.
  • Ensure stroke studies are read within 15 minutes.
  • Prioritize and complete other stat reads, indicated by pink or red with an S, within 20-30 minutes.
