Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Radiologist for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa, starting Dec 8, 2025. This opportunity offers a weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in general radiology with expertise in mammography and fluoroscopy, and able to cover the full assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Analyze medical images to diagnose and monitor diseases
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings to healthcare professionals
  • Perform interventional procedures using imaging guidance
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Select and implement appropriate imaging techniques
  • Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, nuclear medicine, and ultrasounds
  • Recommend diagnostic testing to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology required
  • Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ required
  • Fellowship training in general radiology with mammography and fluoroscopy required
  • Clean malpractice history with no background issues required
  • Must be able to cover most or all assignment dates
