Job Description

We are seeking a Pulmonologist to join our client in North Carolina for a 120-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves managing a range of pulmonary conditions, with office hours Monday–Thursday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Physician will be expected to see approximately 16–18 patients daily, encompassing both new and follow-up appointments, without APP support.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a diverse patient panel presenting with pulmonary conditions such as Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), lung nodules, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary infections (e.g., pneumonia, tuberculosis), and pulmonary hypertension.
  • See approximately 16–18 patients per day, balancing new patient visits and follow-up appointments.
  • Refer patients for appropriate diagnostic tests including six-minute walk tests, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and imaging studies when clinically indicated.
  • Operate independently without Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support.
  • Refrain from performing in-office procedures and providing sleep-related evaluations or treatments.
