Job Description

We are actively seeking a Pathologist Physician for a 248-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing May 4, 2026. This vital role involves providing comprehensive pathology physician care, encompassing clinic responsibilities, timely communication of test results, strict adherence to medication policies, and thorough discharge education. Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, primarily serving veteran cases within a VA Medical Center.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide pathology physician care.
  • Be present on time for any scheduled clinics or surgeries start times.
  • Communicate test results to providers and patients in accordance with VHA Directive 1088.
  • Follow all established medication policies and procedures; no sample medications shall be provided to patients.
  • Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all clinical or surgical patients.
