Physician - Pathologist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pathologist to join our client's dedicated team in NY for a 60-day assignment starting Jul 2, 2026. This vital role requires expertise in general surgical pathology, cytopathology, and the ability to perform and analyze frozen sections on site. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, focusing on a variety of cases, including a majority of GI-related pathology.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform general surgical pathology and cytopathology.
• Conduct frozen sections and basic clinical pathology.
• Perform and analyze frozen sections on site for surgical cases.
• Work with a grossing technician, with occasional backup grossing as needed.
• Manage a variety of cases, including a majority of GI-related pathology.
• Needle aspiration capability preferred for cytology and FNA.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Pathology - Clinical required.
• Experience with Meditech EHR system.
