Job Description
Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Physician - Medical Oncology for an 89-day assignment beginning August 31, 2025. This role involves a Monday-Friday clinic schedule from 8am-5pm, with night call Monday-Thursday, and some remote call for clinic closures. The Physician will manage all aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment for Hematology/Oncology patients, providing essential MD oversight for both clinic and infusion services.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment for Hematology/Oncology patients.
- Offer MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services.
- Ensure onsite MD presence for all treatments in the Infusion Center.
- Oversee Infusion Center services including Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.
