Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an important 40-day assignment in Michigan. This role requires covering three locations with varied days, typically 3 to 6 days per month, providing 24-hour call coverage from 7a to 7a. The physician will provide hospital-based inpatient care, including routine vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and management of obstetric emergencies, managing a broad scope of obstetrical and gynecological needs in a rural practice setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide hospital-based inpatient coverage
- Perform routine vaginal deliveries
- Conduct Cesarean sections
- Manage obstetric emergencies
- Manage a broad scope of obstetrical and gynecological care in a rural practice setting
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA); Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
