Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Neonatologist to join our client's team in South Carolina for a 60-day assignment starting Aug 29, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, including rounding and call from home or a hotel, within a NICU environment. The Neonatologist will provide comprehensive care to an average daily census of 14 patients, performing procedures such as endotracheal intubation, umbilical catheter placements, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, and chest tube insertions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Rounding on patients
  • Managing call from home or hotel
  • Providing care in a NICU setting
  • Maintaining an average daily census of 14 patients
  • Collaborating with on-site OB staff, including MFM support
  • Performing endotracheal intubation
  • Placing umbilical venous and arterial catheters (UVC/UAC)
  • Conducting lumbar punctures
  • Inserting PICC lines
  • Performing chest tube insertions
