Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona starting Apr 6, 2026. This per diem opportunity features 24-hour, in-house shifts within a NICU. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of post-fellowship experience and be ready to provide ongoing coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to neonates in a NICU setting
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions in newborns, including critical care interventions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient encounters
  • Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety guidelines


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Neonatology required
  • Minimum of 1 year post-fellowship experience as a Neonatologist required
  • Arizona active license or eligibility for compact license (IMLC) required
  • Minimum NICU experience required
  • Must be able to offer ongoing availability
  • Self Query NPDB required at time of presentation
  • Providers must have at least 6 months of clinical experience in Neonatology within the past year
  • Must have completed Prescreen Questionnaire and provide CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
