Job Description

We are seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment in Missouri, starting Sep 28, 2026. This role involves providing advanced neonatal care to critically ill and premature newborns in multiple NICU settings, including participation in 12-hour and 24-hour in-house coverage shifts. The ideal candidate will manage admissions, daily care, and stabilization of neonates while responding to emergencies within a regional system.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide advanced neonatal care in multiple NICU settings across a regional system.
  • Deliver care for critically ill and premature newborns in NICUs.
  • Participate in in-house coverage shifts (12-hour and 24-hour).
  • Support well-baby nursery coverage as needed.
  • Manage admissions, daily care and stabilization of neonates.
  • Respond to neonatal emergencies and transfers within the system.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and patient safety.
