Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Physician for a 30-day assignment in North Carolina, offering a schedule of one week per month, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts plus a one-hour lunch. This role focuses on essential mammography services, including screenings, general diagnostic reads, and performing stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies and needle localizations for our client.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform mammo screenings and general diagnostic reads.
- Conduct stereotactic and US guided biopsies.
- Execute needle localizations.
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Diagnostic Radiology.
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
- EMR Systems: Hologic, InteleRad PACS, Powerscribe dictation.
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only).
- Patient Volume: Approximately 25 diagnostics and 35 screens on read days; 4-5 procedures on procedure days with some reads in between.
- LOA: 30 Days.
