Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 5-day assignment in Tennessee, starting Mar 4, 2026. This inpatient role involves managing patients in a critical access hospital setting, including procedures such as lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. The provider will also be responsible for evaluating patients and ensuring collegial communication with staff.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient care in a Critical Access Hospital with a unit and ICU beds.
  • Perform procedures including lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
  • Manage a patient volume ranging from 10 to 18.
  • Evaluate patients in the Emergency Department at the time of admission.
  • Maintain collegial communication with nursing and administrative staff.
  • Engage in in-the-moment teaching with nursing staff while remaining approachable and open to questions.
  • Must be able to perform required intubations.
