Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist

Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Nov 23, 2026. This role involves contributing to a new medical practice, providing comprehensive care during standard 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of both inpatient consults and a balanced mix of oncology and hematology patients within the outpatient clinic located inside the hospital.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient consults as needed.
• Manage approximately 60% oncology cases.
• Handle approximately 40% hematology cases.
• Contribute to the establishment and growth of a new medical hematology/oncology practice.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology is required.
• EMR: Epic
• Work collaboratively as the second provider in a new practice setting, with one full-time Physician already hired.
• The outpatient clinic is situated within a hospital setting, requiring occasional inpatient consults.
