The ideal candidate should be experienced with a wide range of endoscopic and advanced GI procedures and comfortable working in a busy hospital environment utilizing the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties
Perform diagnostic EGD (100 procedures)
Conduct total colonoscopies (100 procedures)
Complete snare polypectomy (20 procedures)
Manage nonvariceal hemostasis (20 procedures, including 10 active bleeders)
Provide variceal hemostasis (15 procedures, including 5 active bleeders)
Perform esophageal dilation with guide wire (15 procedures)
Conduct flexible sigmoidoscopy (25 procedures)
Place percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes (10 procedures)
Perform diagnostic ERCP (75 procedures)
Complete therapeutic ERCP (25 procedures, including 20 sphincterotomies and 5 stent placements)
Conduct tumor ablation (20 procedures)
Perform pneumatic dilation for achalasia (5 procedures)
Complete esophageal stent placements
Additional Information
Michigan medical license required
Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
Assignment is not eligible for IMLC or out-of-state licensure due to timeframe
