Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Description

Our client in New Mexico is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-day assignment starting Sep 2, 2026. This role involves providing critical access ER coverage during 12-hour shifts, including a range of essential procedures to stabilize patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide critical access ER coverage
• Perform procedures including endotracheal intubation, central/arterial line placement, paracentesis/thoracentesis, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, tube/needle/finger thoracotomy, chemical/electric cardioversion, and closed fracture reductions
• Stabilize all trauma cases for transport to an academic campus
