Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, beginning Nov 3, 2025. This opportunity offers a 24-day contract covering ER cases in a dynamic clinical setting. Candidates must hold current board certification in Emergency Medicine, as well as ACLS and ATLS certifications. Proficiency with Meditech EHR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide direct care for ER cases as assigned
  • Diagnose and manage acute and emergent medical conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all patient encounters using Meditech EHR
  • Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required (ABEM or AOBEM)
  • Must possess valid Florida medical license
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications required
  • Prior experience with ER cases is strongly preferred
