We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Nov 10, 2025, with an 18-week commitment. This night-shift opportunity is based in a community hospital setting, offering 24-hour physician coverage and weekday APP support in an emergency department.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department within a hospital
  • Stabilize and manage traumatic patients in a non-designated trauma setting
  • Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, arterial and central line placements
  • Deliver care to all age groups, with a primary focus on adult and geriatric patients
  • Collaborate with weekday advanced practice provider staff
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation and care coordination


Additional Information

  • Florida medical license required
  • Trauma experience preferred but not required
  • Must be comfortable with all lifesaving procedures
  • Board certification not required for this position
