Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features 12-hour day and night shifts. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in all emergency care procedures and be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment utilizing Meditech EHR.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive emergency care and stabilization for patients
- Demonstrate proficiency in emergency care procedures including central access, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubation, pacing, and orthopedic stabilization
- Provide timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment for acute medical and trauma cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for efficient patient management
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Meditech EHR
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Florida medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- EM board eligible after successful completion of an accredited residency, or FM/IM with 3 years of experience (for FSEDs only)
