Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 248-day assignment in Florida, beginning Sep 28, 2026. Our client is looking for a professional to provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, preventative, and therapeutic treatment of oral and maxillofacial conditions during standard shift hours of 08:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to safety protocols.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide quality patient care in collaboration with other health care professionals
  • Perform specific duties within approved scope of practice, including consultation, comprehensive dental examination, diagnosis, preventative and/or therapeutic treatment of diseases, disorders, and/or conditions of the oral cavity, maxillofacial area, and/or adjacent associated structures
  • Positively identify patients prior to sample collection and samples prior to testing or aliquoting as part of required safety measures
  • Safeguard electronic and paper patient information as part of required safety measures
  • Independently test, evaluate, document, and report patient testing and Quality Control (QC)
  • Identify, document, and resolve any collection, processing, testing, or reporting issues
  • Assure patient-centered care and provide service in a professional manner to avoid complaints from all stakeholders and customers
  • Manage cases involving minimal sedation/anxiolysis (oral only, single agent)
  • Treat caries, defective restorations, traumatic injuries to teeth, and perform occlusal therapy
  • Perform prosthetic replacement of missing dentition (fixed and removable)
  • Perform prosthetic restoration of single implants and implant-retained dentures
  • Conduct endodontic therapy, non-surgical
  • Perform gingivectomy/gingivoplasty
  • Perform simple and surgical extractions, socket preservation, and alveoplasty
  • Administer localized delivery of chemotherapeutic agents
  • Conduct minor pre-prosthetic surgery (soft and hard tissue)
  • Repair minor intra-oral lacerations and/or traumatic wounds
  • Perform soft tissue intra-oral biopsy (less than 1cm)
  • Provide emergency dental treatment
  • Conduct oral pathology/oral medicine assessments
  • Manage temporomandibular disorders non-surgically
  • Perform complete occlusal adjustment
  • Conduct post-mortem dental examinations for identification purposes
