Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our client in Pennsylvania. This 6-day assignment, beginning Oct 23, 2026, involves covering 24-hour call from Friday 5pm to Monday 7am. The role primarily focuses on vein harvesting and assisting with urgent surgical cases, managing patients from ICU to home, and collaborating with an on-site surgeon.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform vein harvesting procedures.
• Assist with urgent surgical cases, transitioning patients from the cath lab to surgery.
• Manage patient care, guiding them from the ICU through discharge.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team, with surgeon backup available after consult.
