Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 180-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Oct 23, 2026. This role involves comprehensive patient care, including vein harvesting and managing urgent surgery cases from the cath lab through post-operative recovery, with responsibilities covering patients from ICU to home. The schedule requires weekend 24-hour call coverage, specifically from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM, supported by a surgeon for backup after consults.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform vein harvesting procedures.
• Manage urgent surgical cases, transitioning patients from the cath lab to surgery.
• Oversee patient care from the intensive care unit through home discharge.
• Collaborate with surgeons, providing backup support following consults.
