Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Job Description

Our client in Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 12-day assignment starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves varied call shifts, including nights and 24-hour call, focusing on critical care. You will manage emergency cases such as ECMO and tamponade, and perform advanced cardiothoracic procedures including Aortic Valve Replacements, CABG, and TAVR, playing a crucial role in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide call and rounding coverage
• Respond promptly to emergencies during call shifts
• Manage critical emergency cases including ECMO and tamponade
• Perform advanced cardiothoracic procedures such as Aortic Valve Replacements, CABG, TAVR, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Heart Valve Surgery, MitraClip, and PFO Closure
